Habby.net was hosted on Jumpline.com over the last 3 years. We were rather satisfied and even recommended the host to our visitors. The disaster started March 06th, when jumpline introduced a new system.
Never in a lifetime we had thought that anyone professional could fuck up things so badly. Mail folders were lost for more than 2 recent weeks. Databases lost or till today (one week later) not available at all. Sites down for more than 4 days. No email connectivity for 3 days. It is a mayor disaster and hit habby.net badly - right in the heart - so to say, as we have plenty of database connected pages and a lot of dynamic content, just like the news here.
So for anyone reading here, please be advised to carefully check with whom you host. If you're paying a rather expensive host, expecting high quality and safety, be assured that you will lose data unless you back up everything continously.
It seems like not only are quite a few technicians out there not capable to act carefully and handle customers data as reliable as possible - no, it looks like it doesn't really matter to them at all.
