Hey there travellers,

winter starts in Australia and spring is on in Europe (is it? ;-)? So, that is the propper time... to plan a trip to Europe!
Friends of me fly to New Zealand. Other friends fly to Thailand. Others don't fly at all - they walk.

Just recently I walked the internet and came accross a very interesting site (at least I think so) at http://www.kroh.net/?habby-link. You should check out the IP section - in passing - and you should bring some time to spend on the site.

WALKING, they say, is good for your health. There's a saying that a 1 hour walk increases your life span by one year. If that was true, I could expect some 400 years to live. But I guess there's other things to do which decrease your life expectation - such as smoking or drinking alcohol, or using all kind of other intoxication - so if that is true I should expect to die any minute.

One thing you cannot do whilst you are walking is to watch a video. There's two movies I recently watched (for creativity reasons) which I'd seriously like to recommand. One is "galaxy quest" and the other one is "bulworth". Both are comedies and both of them deal with very realistic issues of life. It's definitely more important to see galaxy quest since there are walking guidances such as "never give up - never surrender".

One more thing about walking: you don't need a dog.

Even though some people might prefer to take a dog for a walk, I experienced great walks without any dogs around. As a matter of fact I do better walks without dogs. Dogs tend to pull you somewhere and you will end up in a place where you don't want to be - because dogs don't value time. Maybe that's why they're also called watch dogs...

So, my recommendation for this month: go for a walk!
